Human Friends Organization has stood at the forefront of defending religious minorities and vulnerable communities in Pakistan since 2003. Through our Access to Justice program, HFO provides free legal assistance to victims of persecution, discrimination, false accusations of blasphemy, forced conversion, bonded labor, gender-based violence, and other human rights violations.

Over the past 22 years of service, HFO has successfully provided legal relief and support to 33 victims, helping them pursue justice, safety, and dignity.

In Punjab, Pakistan, marginalized communities continue to face serious human rights challenges. Religious minorities, including Christians, Hindus, Sikhs, and Ahmadi Muslims, often experience systemic discrimination, social prejudice, targeted violence, forced conversions, attacks on places of worship, and misuse of blasphemy laws. Women and girls face domestic violence, harassment, forced marriage, and honor-based abuse, while poor and minority laborers remain vulnerable to bonded labor in brick kilns, agriculture, and domestic work.

Access to justice remains difficult for many victims due to poverty, fear, delayed court proceedings, police misconduct, and lack of legal awareness. HFO works to bridge this gap by offering legal aid, case follow-up, advocacy, counseling, referrals, and community support.
