An Interfaith Peace Prayer and Iftar Dinner was jointly organized by the Human Friends Organization (HFO) and the Archdiocese of Lahore at St. Anthony High School, Main Branch Lahore. The event was presided over by The Vicar General Very Reverend Fr. Asif Sardar, while Parliamentary Secretary Ms. Sonia Asher graced the gathering as the Chief Guest. Faith leaders and members of civil society were warmly welcomed by Mr. Sajid Christopher, President of Human Friends Organization (HFO). The event was gracefully conducted by Reverend Fr. Naqash, who served as the compere. The distinguished speakers included Sister Genevieve, Maulana Asim Makhdum, Fr. Basharat, Samson Salamat, Fr. James Chanan, Dr. Badar Munir and Mufti Ashiq Hussain, who shared inspiring messages on peace, harmony, and interfaith unity. The meaningful program concluded with a joint Iftar dinner, symbolizing solidarity, mutual respect, and the shared commitment to building peace and harmony among communities. Together, we continue to promote dialogue, understanding, and peaceful coexistence.

Interfaith Harmony Week is being celebrated by the Archdiocese of Lahore in collaboration with interfaith leaders and human rights defenders, promoting peace, unity, and mutual respect among all communities.
Human Friends Organization (HFO) is committed to enhance interfaith harmony and brotherhood among people hailing from different religious and social backgrounds. Since last 17 years, HFO is striving for the promotion of tolerance, peace, brotherhood and inter-religious harmony through advocacy and lobbying. In collaboration with Ministry of Human Rights and Minority Affairs, HFO is playing a primary role in formulation of policies regarding interfaith harmony. HFO frequently organizes symposiums in which eminent scholars and religious leaders of different faiths participate to devise strategies for boosting inter-religious harmony.
