Human Friends Organization (HFO) is committed to ensuring that every child grows up in a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment free from fear, abuse, violence, and exploitation. HFO operates a school where more than 1,200 children receive quality education in a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. In addition, HFO provides care, protection, and holistic support to 47 children at the Kinship House Orphanage. Across both institutions, HFO strictly implements its Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy, ensuring that all children are protected from physical, emotional, and psychological harm. All staff members, teachers, caregivers, volunteers, and associated personnel are required to follow clear safeguarding procedures, reporting mechanisms, and standards of responsible conduct.

Our Child Protection Approach

HFO believes that protecting children is a shared responsibility of families, schools, institutions, and communities. Through this program, HFO works to create protective and caring environments where children are:

  • Heard and respected
  • Safe from abuse, neglect, violence, and exploitation
  • Aware of their rights and personal safety
  • Supported emotionally, socially, and educationally
  • Protected by accountable adults and institutions
